“ In April 2013 I competed in my first Fitness Model Competition. I was so happy to be on stage and had achieved so much in getting there! However, when I looked back at the photos, I knew I needed to improve my overall package if I was to get on stage again. I had my vision set for September 2014 and to this time it was to compete in the division Figure. After being referred to Duncan Rankine by a friend, I got in touch with him to see what sort of training packages and plans he offered. From first speaking with him, l could see he had a vast knowledge of the bodybuilding industry and his own personal achievements within the industry were more than impressive. I knew that I would learn a great deal from him and decided to get started! For me, my goal was to try and eat a good variety of food, build more muscle and then lean down ready for the stage. I put my heart and soul into the training and followed the food plan to the gram and only had the scheduled treat meals. I trained and pushed myself harder than ever and the results really showed, I was in the best shape I had ever been in. I did a photo shoot as my reward with an amazing Melbourne photographer Taz Kaluarachchi and it was a fantastic experience to see all my hard work. The results were a toned body, not over chiseled or lean and a healthy, happy looking figure. I could not have been happier with my results. From the experience Duncan has taught me to train harder and smarter than I had ever previously done. He also showed me how to isolate certain muscle groups during my training sessions and how to really maximise my sessions. Duncan helped me learn correct technique, he was always helpful in answering any of my questions and was always there to help guide me through my training.
